Tasks and goals:
- current information for our members
- we are the contact for all questions about the field and an open discussion forum for farmers and scientists
- joint further training of the association members through fertilizer meetings and practical seminars with competent discussion partners, as well as an annual specialist conference with agricultural scientists and speakers from all over Germany (Brandenburg Fertilization Day)
- exchange of experience on practical questions of fertilization
- publication of association information, especially on technical questions of applied plant nutrition
- expansion of the “Agricultural Science Film Library” on the Internet
- continuous media work
Our vision:
… is to summarize findings from agricultural science experiments and practical fertilizer advice in one institution. The main task in the future must be to make the most important work results (e.g. implementable fertilizer recommendations) available directly to farmers. This necessary collaboration between several areas is only possible under one “roof”.
